Joshua Ministry Mission Statement

 

We believe:

• God created us to be in relationship, first with Him and second with each other, based on the two great commandments (Matthew 22:36-40).

• God is the creator of everything. He is Father, Son, and Spirit in one (John 14:26).

• The Bible contains His truth and is our manual and guideline for daily living (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

 

Our purpose:

• Disciple and teach people how to apply their God given gifts and talents to encourage and bring light in the darkness (Matthew 28:19-20).

• Equipping them to walk in freedom and the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 14:16-17).

• Teaching the simple example, if you give a fish, you have food for the day but if you are taught how to fish, you will have food forever.

• Walking alongside others, teaching them Godly attributes that are laid out in His word by taking every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) and by renewing our mind (Romans 12:2).

• Providing a safe and joyful environment, building up Godly features, (Titus 1:8), sowing thoughts (Galatians 6:8), creating habits (Proverbs 27:17), building character (Romans 5:1-6), that leads to a life representing Jesus.
