Joshua Ministry Bukura Kenya

We arrived safely in Nairobi on 06-23-2024 after leaving Houston on 06-21-2024. There was a bit of a delay in Amsterdam due to fire alarms going off in the airport. We’re getting acclimated to the time change, there’s +8hours time difference between Houston (central daylight time) and Kenya. Thanks to the generous gifts from Mountain Movers Ministries and individuals we are securing the necessary appliances and housewares. This requires shopping! We’ve made several trips into Nairobi to the shopping malls. Some of our local travels have been hindered by the rioting/protesting here. If you haven’t seen the news, the police called in the military police using tear gas and then shooting live rounds killing several protesters near the parliament building downtown Nairobi. The roads were blocked, and stores closed. For safety we stayed home. Home for the next few days is 30 minutes northeast of the downtown. Mid next week we will travel with our treasures to our house in the village, Bukura, about 8 ~10 hours north.
The pictures below are Ray and I at the Houston airport before we boarded our plane to Minneapolis, the 1st leg of our trip. Amsterdam airport delay. The map from the airplane media. One of the many buses in the city of Nairobi showing Christian sayings. Tanya, Enos's daughter. A few pictures of the Kibera slum, where 2,5 million people live. It is the largest of 5 slums in Nairobi totaling approx. 4 million people. Note the electric connection!
We'll connect later. God bless you.

Blessings of love, hope and peace, William and Arlene 💥 💞 🙏 😇
